The previous study design had an SDLC with more stages (Analysis, Design,
Development, Testing, Documentation, Implementation, Evaluation) but it was
collapsed in the new study design and Implementation got completely
removed, not just subsumed by another stage.

I agree, it's a mysterious deletion.
