[Year 12 IT Apps] Boolean?

True Boolean data should be true/false, since they are stored as zero
(false) or non-zero (true) bits, not as text.
But other binary options can happen if you encode the data appropriately,
e.g. using IsMale or IsFemale would allow a nice, normal Boolean response
to the gender question.
But, to complicate matters, some databases (like Filemaker) let you choose
how true Boolean values are displayed (e.g. M/F, True/False, Yes/No).
So it does get murky.
I wish ITA exams would keep well away from such murky, argumentative, iffy
issues and stick to the clear and obvious key knowledge.

*I love the sound of people's voices after they stop talking.*
I, Mark Kelly, am entirely responsible for the offensive verbiage I spew
forth.
Have I offended anyone with this post? I would not be surprised.
If offended, please whinge to me at the email address above.
Please leave poor Kevork alone. It is not his fault.
