hehehe I was hoping to attract a couple of chuckles.

We run it at 9:30 pm so that we can keep Europe and the USA in daylight hours, catching the goth educators who are still up and about in New Zealand. Last night was a great hangout.

Education must be one of the few professions that nick supplies from our homes to restock our workplace. One of the most precious things we steal from is our family time. Teachers are complex psychosocial professionals who need to work, reflect, collaborate and communicate at so many different levels and ways. It isn't as easy as unplugging and unlike other professionals, we cannot silo our engagement to strictly school hours. We have to be sensitive to our personal needs and find the right balance point.

You can catch past recordings or future shows at http://acceln.wikispaces.com
