A lovely punchline.
An entrepreneur acquaintance of my son’s located a small group of COBOL programmers in South-east Asia, he set them up in a house together in NZ and pays them many times what they earned back home.
BTW I learned and hated COBOL.

I thought this article was a joke too - but it appears to be serious. It refers to a shortage of COBOL programmers.
