That's how I interpreted the question at first - some automated system was
required, because the question was about data management.
But the question does ask how the *manager* would do it, so the examiners
can say it could be a manual task.
If so, suddenly the question stops being about data management and turns
into a "How do you change a webpage?" question, which is different key
knowledge.
Subquestions are certainly allowed to change topic (e.g. B12 turned from
sorting text into database queries) but unless the change of direction is
obvious, I assume the same key knowledge is being assessed: in this case,
data management and access.
I guess most kids probably didn't think it to death like I did, and just
gave the basic "Type the price into the webpage manually" answer.
Either way, the answer was going to be too easy or too hard...
