[Year 12 IT Apps] Dropdown list in Access

Hi all
Can anybody help solve a colleague's problem? I've had a look and can't see the problem, unfortunately my Access skills are a bit rusty as I am not teaching IT Apps this year.

On a form, I have some fields (Teacher Code, Subject, Learning Area etc.). This form is based on a Staff table.
I would like to use the form to update the data in the Staff table.
I want to use a drop down list to select and add an item into the staff table, based upon the current record shown in the form.
For example, if the record shows the Maths Learning Area, I only want Maths teachers in the dropdown list. When the record shows the LOTE Learning Area, I only want teachers of LOTE to appear in the drop down list.
Whilst I have achieved this "manually", it is neither efficient nor desirable.
How do I set up my form so that the dropdown list only shows the teachers for that Learning Area for that current record?
