[Year 12 IT Apps] Data type for postcode

Slightly off-topic: the postcodes for Australia's three bases in
Antarctica (Casey, Mawson and Davis) are 7151, which is notionally,
based on the first digit, a Tasmanian postcode.

That confuses some of the services that try to provide information
based on postcodes - for example
http://www.postcodes-australia.com/postcodes/7151 lists the hotels in
the vicinity of Mawson Base as including Rydges Capital Hill Canberra.
(which is a fail at several levels)
http://www.citypostcodes.com.au/Hobart_postcode/Casey/Postcodes/22451
places Casey Antarctic Base as somewhere between East Richmond Railway
Station and the Burnley Tunnel. I guess that makes Antarctic Research
a lot more comfortable. :-)
