Thanks Mark. I've also found http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/ to be great. You can do individual or bulk name generation with a huge array of possible fields of information.

Am writing an ITA exam and needed to come up with sample data for a database question - a task I hate.

which generates lots of lovely fake data for you with all sorts of data types in as many  fields as you like.
