There is no logic why anyone would choose to use IE over the current modern browsers.
So much so that IE was not supported in the latest release of facebook timeline. Its on a steady decline

Hi all. Having had a look at the analytics from vceit.com<http://vceit.com>, these are the latest browsers visiting the site:
1. Internet Explorer - 29.91%
2. Firefox - 29.87%
3. Chrome - 29.29%
4. Safari - 6.22%
5. Opera Mini - 1.98%
6. Opera - 1.65%
7. Android Browser - 0.41%
The big 3 are neck and neck!
