[Year 12 IT Apps] 2010 ITA examiners' report

I have to agree.
By all means, we should apply our critical brains to construct and
deconstruct exams and justify the merits of various solutions (with the odd,
whimsical dog biscuit thrown in to encourage debate). Whilst this is just
part of good debate, we should not poke sticks into the lion cage or snipe
about the turning the clock back from the collective safety of our
post-examination Tardis.
As an assessment tool we should have broad confidence in the tecnical
function and analytical role of the examination and help work towards
raising the bar with this discussion. It's a tough call to assemble these
examinations and we should give due respect and dignity to examination
colleagues on this list who read and reflect on our posts.
Regards Roland
