[Year 12 IT Apps] outcome1

Hi Mark

I did O2 in first term as well.

I decided to get straight into prac work with DBs, instead of the
mountain of theory of O1 which I interfused along the way anyway.

Also i noticed that O2 involved just the Design and Development phases
of the PSM where Analysis was also required for O1.

Made sense, to me anyway, to tackle two phases of PSM in term 1 that add
another in term 2.

Hi Mark

We both did, my reason for it was that during your rollover for 2011
last year we started Access and just kept on going when we returned this
year, made it easier without the text book.

Hi Andrew. Yes, practical training was pretty quick for U3O1.

If you're doing U3O1 this term, did you do U3O2 in term 1? If so, I'm
curious about why you switched the order.

Hi,

I am teaching unit 3 outcome1 this term and I wonder how long did
teachers spend on web development?
Students only need to make basic webpgaes with simulated content I would
imagine only 2-3 weeks would be enough for a web savvy class. The key
knowledge/skills mentions a more theory based content.
