[Year 12 IT Apps] How long should Unit 3 Outcome 1 take?

One of the things that I used to get the kids to do when doing a 
practice SAC, or practice task is to time how long it would take them to 
do the "development" stage. Paying close attention to efficient 
procedures when developing a solution. A lot of kids fall down as they 
don't know how long it takes them to "knock up" a web site and they 
spend too much time fiddling with things.

I use the analogy, that when athletes like Cathy Freeman train for the 
Olympics, they always look for their personal best when training. 
Students should be mindful of how long it takes them to create a web 
map, template and web site.
