Sorry Robert but 2 things... 1 is that my second child is due on Saturday and we're busy preparing and 2 is that I'm on holidays! If you would like me to send you some documents that I have created then please contact me and I'd be happy to send you some off list that demonstrate the full (well, full to my understanding) functionality of the current ePub 3 format, and also some that are the "iPad version" that support video and can be opened in iBooks, but won't be fully functional in most e-readers as ipad used a slightly modified reader. If you would like to prepare, and don't currently have an e-reader, I can fully recommend adobe digital editions, which is a free e-reader for your pc. Alternatively I'm sure someone else would love to spend their holidays converting the study design for you.

As for your very forward request - I can now agree with the title of GOM!

Jarrod,

I have just converted some documents to epubs using Indesign cs5.5. It takes 
a bit to get used to, but has major benefits. Also, you have to take into 
account scaling of images/tables and the fact that the entire document 
flows, can be zoomed in/out and can look different on any e-reader. If you 
start by creating a CSS document to define all of the main settings, it 
makes it a lot easier in the long run. I don't see why they couldn't do this 
to the study design.

VCAA would battle to convert the study designs to epub format, it was a 
nightmare for me to convert a standard word document with just words and 
headings. Throw in tables etc and it gets super ugly
