Would it be too hard for VITTA to separate the Unit 1 and 2 Exams and email the VITTA  resources kits subscribers the unit 2 exam is now available separately?

Quite agree, Brendan.  VITTA should supply a separate exam for Unit 2, as they did for Unit 1 as most schools have end of semester exams rather than just end of year exams.  This also caters for students who didn’t do Unit 1 and have picked up IT in Unit 2.  I hope there are sufficient requests via this list (and direct emails) to ensure this happens.

On your other point, I did use some of the questions from the VITTA exam but had to modify section B a bit as I felt there were too many Design questions and not enough questions on the basic IT theory (eg. PSM, phases of info processing, etc.)

Apologies for a bit of a cross post.

I have purchased the unit 1-2 exams from VITTA. When they arrived last term, they came as combined Unit 1-2 exams, ie questions from both units in one exam. I contacted them and they subsequently sent through a Unit 1 only exam. I now want a Unit 2 exam.

My question is do any of you use these exams and do you use them as combined Unit 1-2 exmas or do you separate them out?

I'm a bit bemused that they have offered the exam products in this format.

Any comments?
