[Year 12 IT Apps] HTML5 demo site

Yes but HTML5 is an agreed and open standard that enables us to use a web
browser without commercial and closed source plugins. All that tweaking to
fix your video and get your browser right will stop and you just start using
the web. Some things like <font> and <center> will no longer work as
Cascading Style Sheets take over. Even our friends at MS have agreed that it
is the "future of the web".

One thing is for sure, whatever tool that we teach students at year 7 will
be very different when they graduate. On the other hand; social issues, good
design, collaboration and thinking strategies will very probably remain
unchanged.

Sharpen your pencils :-)

Regards Roland
