[Year 12 IT Apps] Gamemaker off topic

Just wanted to ask the audience if anyone has tried Gamemaker 7 on the
new edustar image running windows 7 ?

 

Seems the restrictions will no allow it to run on Win 7.

 

Gamemaker 8 has just been released does this fix the problem ?

Excellent work yet again Mark took paper home and really had to re-read
some question overall I think much better than last year.

 

Typo on your post mortem Q11 Multiple Choice should read C you have D.

Not a lot to get one's knickers in a knot about (which is a shame 'cos a
good paper is pretty dull to write about. Terrible papers are
exciting!).

A pretty good paper with some avoidably bad wording.

Section A was good.

Section B...
Too much on ethics. 
Too much tech knowledge expected on the operation of CMS websites.
Spreadsheet amateurism (as usual).


A tougher paper than last year's (thank Dog), but approachable by a
mid-range student. 
A reasonable mix of hard/soft content. e.g. PERT/Gantt questions.

Overall, a good present from Santa.
