[Year 12 IT Apps] AS3

Most of the things we've made involve using a few different frames of the
timeline. We generally use some gotoAndStop code to move between those
frames.

We've covered things like changing the properties of movie clips (x/y axis,
scale), variables, functions, timeline navigation, random number generation,
drag and drop, moving objects, object collision, mouse collision. I've given
my class a lot of freedom to explore and they've responded really well.

It's been my first time teaching Actionscript, so it's been messy at times
but I'm really excited to go over it again next year.

To finish the semester off we've been looking at two flash games in
particular, The Worlds Hardest Game and The Impossible Quiz (google them,
they're easy to find). Both games have been very popular on the Internet
because they're fun to play, but they're also -fairly- simplistic to make.
So after analysing those games and discussing how we could make them,
they're off to make something somewhat similar. It'll be interesting to see
what they come up with.
