APOLOGY -
I would like to apologise to Therese for my blunt/insulting reply previously.
I simply scanned the email and went to the VITTA page for more info and there was no mention of Therese as the presenter (or any info about the who's).
Knowing that Therese is presenting would make me happier about finding what she has to say, it might even be workable.
I'll read the emails more carefully in future before going to the "more info".
I would apologise to Theres in person at the PD, but $200 is twice by PD budget for the year.
Apologies to you Therese I do know you are a very creditable presenter and one worth listening to.
I also apologise to the various "Directors" out there - I know it's not your fault.

INFORMED ICT SCHOOL LEADERSHIP

Information a! nd Communications Technology leaders have a crucial role to play in schools. In investigating the ICT leadership role, Therese Keane conducted research to obtain perspectives from a variety of personnel in key leadership positions in schools as well as teacher perspectives. From the research it was identified that to be an effective Information and Communications Technology leader, one needs to have experience and skills in four specific areas. Find out what these are and how to implement effective ICT leadership in your school.

Whether you are in a primary school or a secondary school, ICT leadership is an important question in school organisation. If you are interested in your school's direction or if you want to develop your own career direction this session can help you.

The Victorian Institute of Teaching requires that to renew their registration teachers must have completed a minimum amount of professional development activities within a given timeframe - currently phased up to 100 hours of recognised professional development activity over 5 years.
