Hi all. Those in gov't schools who are annoyed by "The ad zapped" script on
the Edupass server popping up with monotonous regularity might be interested
in knowing that schools are allowed to disable it if they want.

*Dear Mark,*

*Over the last few weeks, we have noticed an increase in the number of
people having a problem connecting with PDOnline.*

*The problem has been traced to some recent changes in 'Ad Zapper', a
filtering proxy used by Edupass, the gateway for most schools connecting to
the internet.*

*If you believe that PDOnline is not working for you in the way that it
should, we recommend that you contact your TSSP Specialist Technician and
advise them that we have found that disabling 'Ad Zapper' currently works
around the problem.*

*This advice has been provided to us by DEECD. We are currently working with
DEECD to have this issue rectified and the eduPaSS servers across the state
updated. If your technician has any concerns they should contact the DEECD
Service Desk.*

*Please note that disabling “Ad Zapper” is a school based decision and may
not be a viable option at your school. *

*If problems still persist, please send an email to us at
help at pd-online.com.au *
*

*

*Kind Regards,* *
