[Year 12 IT Apps] New Study design - U4O1 example activity

On page 70-72 the 2011 study design provides a sample outcome for
spreadsheets.

It's a pity that the sample is the "produce payslips for workers" variety
which is not what spreadsheets should be used for.

Spreadsheets have always been poor at producing individualised bulk output,
and having to use Word's primitive mail merge facilities is not a good
indication to students of using the right tool for the job.

IMHO, a better spreadsheet application would have been playing 'what if'
modeling, changing pay rates and bonus conditions to see the global effect
on wages.

Sadly, if the draft study design had included the 'Advice for Teachers'
section where this sample outcome appeared, it would have been possible to
provide this feedback before the draft was accredited...  O well.
