I don't like your point 2, certainly not in a real organisation. Your Macro
would need to be extended to make this idiot-proof. Never underestimate the
ability of the average user to nobble a bespoke application.
In fact I don't like the idea of using Excel to generate commercial invoices
at all. It is great for ephemeral uses like a quotation system where
permanent records are less important, but an invoicing, warehousing and
dispatch system should be database driven. Data in excel can be too easily
damaged. See, for example, item II in
http://www.daheiser.info/excel/frontpage.html which discusses organisational
misuse of Excel.
BTW I've been enjoying the nested IF v VLOOKUP debate with relish. I
discovered VLOOKUP long after I had created Grade sheets full of nested IFs
- using the old MS Works and Claris Works templates as a model! What a
waste.

I think you are over complicating the whole thing.
The most efficient way of create a delivery slip is to:
1. Have a macro that creates a blank delivery slip (with a button on the
Delivery Cost sheet)
2. Cut and paste the relevant details from the DeliveryCost and CustomerInfo
sheets onto the Delivery sheet
Too easy
