In reply to my own question, I just got a bulletin from DEECD's ITD saying:
- centrally managed internet starts in 2010
- DEECD will pay
- more info and transition info comes later in term 4
- don't enter into any new contract with an ISP
Rumour has it that the internet funding is for 2010 but does not
necessarily continue after that.

Probably worth keeping quiet at least until Wed lunchtime in case the 'B'
paper is used for any students. Sometimes it has nearly happened here as
students can only sit two examinations in a day. Give us all time to do the
paper ourselves and see what marks we give ourselves.

Clayton South has a solar noon that is about 60 seconds ahead of Melbourne
