I think from memory, you can 'isolate' IP addresses from functioning in Netware for your need, Kushum, just cant off the top of my head, remember how. Sorry mate.

We have been doing this for quite sometime. However the students are
able to use many forms of communication once they are on the computers.
Is there any way to disable the Internet connection in a particular room
for the duration of the SAC. We use Novell Netware.

At my last school we created folders on a drive with a batch file to
turn
on and off access rights by the teacher. I can send the batch files to
anyone who is interested.
At the current school, students save to a USB stick, which I hold for
the
duration of the SAC.
