[Year 12 IT Apps] VISTA and your school

Thanks to all who offered feedback on the great VISTA slowdown. The
consensus was clearly leave it alone !
However, during the last week our techie has found a potential solution to
the slow login times and has deployed it. From a 3 to 10 min login ( more
often the later) we are down to 1 to 2 min login. All seems rosy at this
stage with fingers crossed as we continue to monitor the solution.
BTW our workstations are Intel Pentium R , 3 Ghz with 2 Gig RAM.
