Our last batch of 2008 laptops came with VISTA. It operated nowhere else in the school and caused lots of problems.

For this year's laptops the techs created their own XP image and many of those with VISTA are requesting rollbacks.

Slightly off topic, but I would like opinions with what schools are doing re VISTA.
It was deployed over the Xmas holidays here and we have had no end of problems mainly with very slow speed issues. I am trying to convince powers to be to roll back to XP.
