[Year 12 IT Apps] Data tables?

My understanding (and happy to be corrected) is that it has similar
information as a data dictionary but expresses the structure of an entity in
a database.

For example:

{Person ID} = {First name} + {Last name} + {Address} etc.

You would then take each data type and put it into a data table.

i.e.

First name Text 10 characters
Last name Text 20 characters
Post code Number	4 Must start with a
'3'
Etc.

Kind regards

Thanks Allan. So, isn't this the same as a data dictionary?
