The VITTA Office would like to wish you all a very happy ICT Week (Monday 27
July - Saturday 1 August). ICT Week is a national program which celebrates
and promotes the use of ICT in all facets of society. The week, now in it's
third year is growing in size and Victorians especially are lucky to be able
to participate in several diverse activities throughout the week. Here's an
outline of what's happening this year:

ICT & Careers Expo
*Come along and find out more about how you can achieve your career goals at
the 2009 ICT & Careers Expo.
*Date: *Saturday 1 August*
Venue: *Melbourne HIgh Schoo, Forrest Hill, South Yarra*
Time: *10am - 3pm*
Cost: *Free*

ICT Industry Bus Tour
*Come along to the first VITTA ICT Industry Bus Tour - but hurry, there are
only a couple of places left! The day will not only be a fun introduction to
possibilities in the ICT industry, but also a great way to network with
colleagues and industry.

*Start and Finish:* VITTA Office, 134 Cambridge Street, Collingwood

*Time:* 8:30am – 7:00pm

Natcoll in conjunction with VITTA are presenting limited edition Multimedia
Short Courses during ICT Week. Choose from a range of short courses covering
programs like Photoshop, Indesign, Flash and GameMaker.

*PixelEd Industry Dinner*
PixelEd's annual "Meet Industry Dinner" gives Multimedia and Interactive
Digital Media teachers an opportunity to fulfill the VET training
requirement to stay up-to-date on industry matters.

The Dinner will be held at *Enoteca Oggi* 237 Lygon St, Carlton 3053,
*Thursday July 30 at 7.15*
3 course meal (drinks extra)
