MinuteMan is also quite good - I think it is freeware or shareware.

Hi all,

I have just (and I know I am a little slow on the uptake here) realised that
my school no longer has Microsoft project,,, and if I want it on the
machines for the sac I need to pay $200 per machine. as it is no longer in
the agreement.. it is the program that all the teachers here have used for
Gantt charts for the last 7 years.. so now I do not know what to recommend
or even try myself.. 

so here is my question.. what programs are all of you using for your Gantt
charts for the sacs?  is there a really good one out there that is cheaper
or should I just pay the $200 per machine which I am loathing to.. and so is
the boss....
