[Year 12 IT Apps] VITTA VCE & VET IT Day - Sessions filling fast

Hi Geoff and all,

Actually - it is a 9.30am start.  8.30am is the start of registration - the
first plenary session begins at 9.30am.  It is difficult to start the day
too late when it is such a full day - but hopefully this is a bit better.

Your lucky !!!

I get up at 2am half an hour before I go to sleep, I pay for the privilege
of working and after working 26 hours a day my father thrashes me with his
belt !!!

ready and leave at 4.30am so that I can arrive at 8.30. (monty python fans

VITTA strikes again. (Excuse the sarcasm.)

8.30am start! I live in country Vic - that means a 6am start for me, bearing
in mind Melb peak hour. A 9.30 start would mean a 7.30-7.45 start for me - I
am at least a chance.

Check the posts on this board for the past 12 months about meeting the needs
of country based teachers. When will it start? L

Lots of talk, bugger all action. And to start this important PD at 8.30am is
bordering on a joke.

VCE & VET IT Day ~ Refresh, Review, Renew

VITTA is offering an outcomes based Professional Learning day to assist
teachers to implement the following studies:

*	Information Technology Units 1 & 2
*	Information Technology Applications Units 3 & 4
*	Software Development Units 3 & 4
*	VET Information Technology Certificate II and III

Concurrent sessions allow you to choose the areas of study you wish to focus
on while plenary sessions give you the opportunity to get your VCE or VET IT
essentials from Paula Christophersen and Daryl Sutton from VCAA. Question
time is encouraged. 

All presenters are experienced in the development, assessment and management
of the VCE IT and VET IT studies.

This not-to-be missed event will suit both teachers new to VCE and VET IT
and experienced IT teachers needing to refresh their approach or who wish to
incorporate new skills into the planning and delivery of the IT study design
for students.
