ITA U3O1 - KK04
"- hardware and software requirements for setting up websites on
servers, including operating system, web server software, protocols,
internet naming, security, proxy servers;"
After sitting on the bench during the current study design, welcome
PROTOCOLS back onto the ground in the proposed ITA U3O1. It's also
interesting that topologies appear in no subject in the proposed design.
(Notice I'm earnestly avoiding calling it the "new design". I don't
want to encourage them.)
ITA U3O1 is generally more technical all over. It undoes some of the
changes introduced in the current design which simplified networking to
distinguish ITA more sharply from Software Development. Why, I wonder...
---
But what on earth is "internet naming"? (Glossary please!)
Teacher: What should you name the internet?
Student: Herbert?
Teacher: Very good. Now we'll look at how routers make Herbert work.
Or does it (perhaps) refer to the DNS? Who knows?
Answers can be sent to this mailing list via Herbert.

Why do people mis-spell 'grammar' and mispronounce 'pronuniciation'?
