[Year 12 IT Apps] Not sure where to ask this?

Where I'm at had an immensely successful change from a 6 period day
about (45min periods) to a 4 period day (72 min) over 10 days, 2 years
ago. It was a beautiful case study in change management. As predicted,
the overwhelming majority of staff say "Why didn't we do it sooner?"
Which is satisfying when you remember how the sky was going to fall in
if we did.
The benefits to the whole school far out-weighed the disadvantages to
a small number of (mainly practical based) subjects. The new timetable
was adjusted to make allowances for these (double 72 min periods, but
fewer). No timetable is going to be perfect, but we found this to
satisfy the majority.

Cheers
Cameron
