Similar for us as McKinnon, including phones.
The use of USB sticks is positively encouraged for backups etc (and are
included in yr7 book list). Security can be managed by a mixture of
policies and software.

Much the same at McKinnon. Phones may not be used at all in class,
except if used as MP3 players.
