Trying to ban the is like putting the genie back into the bottle. We have a policy that kids can bring them to school (at their own personal risk), but they must be switched off when they come into a classroom (unless given the OK by the teacher). Seems to work, gives the kids and teachers a fair bit of latitude.

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] Ipods phones and mobile device policies

Hi IT teachers

I am generating a policy to try to control/manage the use of what I call all digital devices that students may bring into the school. What are your schools doing when it comes to managing IPODS, USB drives, mobile phones etc????

I would be grateful for any feedback even if your school just banned them.

Have a great term 2

Regards
