[Year 12 IT Apps] digital portfolios in the primary area

Hi Maggie and everyone,
We are using globalstudent blogs for our students from years 4 through to 10. Although, we have only 
started this year, we are encouraging students to use these as digital portfolios, so that they will have 
an ongoing online format that can be accessed from anywhere, anytime and will build over the years. 
Parents, grandparents, the community and the globe can be their audience. Comparisons and 
evaluation can also be made, and the students take great pride in their work. Blogs allow embedding of 
podcasts, links to their digital stories, interactivity etc
