Geoff,

Firefox can be controlled via a simple text file which is then encrypted with a program called Byteshifter - do a google on Bytshifter.

The process is
create a file called mozilla.txt and save to the same directory as the firefox exe file.
Add the approriate xml commands to fix firefox
Then run Bytshifter to encrypt - it create mozilla.dfg
Firefox will always start with the setting in this file

Sorry about the off topic.

I want to have another browser available besides IE. I know some schools
are using Firefox.

How do you control the ability to change proxy settings?
