[Year 12 IT Apps] Virtual Realty Software

We are actually using the Sims2 here and doing machinima - looks like
fun.
Secondlife itself may not be great for middle years but try a safe
island called skoolaborate.com
We are just thinking about this stuff. Anyone else using it?

Hey Jock..did your school just win Tatts?  
Depending on the budget...what about 'second life'. (got no idea on
this one in reality, have never used VR stuff.)
What sort of hware and disc space requirements do you have to play with
for this stuff on your network? What about student access issues? (you
know..the usual info prior to installing new programs, this may help for
anyone with VR suggestions..)
