'Nybble' to the purist.  Nothing wrong with a little nybble now and 
then.  Which reminds me of the big-endian and little-endian flame wars, 
and the most significant bit and least significant bit.

Ah, happy days  :-)

I suppose this manner of reverie is more suitable for the SD list...
