[Year 12 IT Apps] Confirmation:--from the Administrator

Thanks again to you Kevork

You should not be sorry for any inconvenience. You have done all you can to 
work around the naivety/stupidity of others.

It is the other naive/stupid users who should be apologising

For example did the managers of the ekc.vic.edu.au mail server

(a) really know what they were doing in implementing this "challenge" 
approach to spam?
(b) really understand the possible consequences of their actions?
(c) let individual staff members at the school know about the "challenge" 
process and warn them that they should not subscribe to any email lists?

I could go on - but won't :-)

Of course we all make mistakes. We should be prepared to admit that and do 
something about it when we do so and when someone points out to us that we 
have been a "bloody idiot"

Having said all that - spam is obviously a very real problem that affects us 
all and is a tremendous waste of resources.
