>Speaking personally...
>With no attachments(ie not married and no kids!)..I am definitely interested, really!
>If it just means getting a passport and satisfying some basic criteria, then I am happy to apply.
>Its not just the pathetic wages for teachers here, its also the growing lack of respect and the party party attitude(emphasis on the attitude!) that gets up my nose. And, dare I say it, some new younger teachers who have never had another job and start teaching show little respect to some older male staff as we apparently aren't 'cool enough' for them! What crap. They dont actually say it, really, they dont have to, their body language around peers proves it and frankly I hate that. Most kids here where I now teach are fabulous but the trends are reaching country schools I have noticed.
>So, if anyone has contacts for these international jobs, pass my email address to them or let me know so I can apply...seriously! BTW, I have been aware of the Dubai rewards but just didnt know how to apply for them, althought I didnt know 120K was a gettable salary...where do I sign up?

One of our teachers went last year on secondment to the school in the article (and is still there). I just happened to find the article when lighting the pot belly stove last winter. Obviously some people actually read the Ed Times...
