[Year 12 IT Apps] Project Management Software

I concur with Laurie's suggestion - I downloaded OpenProj a while ago
when deciding on software tools and immediately tried it out using our
bathroom renovation as a test. It's easy to use, intuitive, and friendly
- I did not have to use the help files at all - problem is the actual
bathroom reno project has halted due to time constraints and I haven't
looked at the file since - a case of project management in the real
world!!! Maybe I should get a second life and see if there's any hope of
getting a new bathroom somewhere in there!!

Cheers
Ros

You're right, Janet.

The assessment handbook stipulates (p.16) that task 2 requires "A
project management report that includes the management plan and a record
of progress, CREATED USING SOFTWARE TOOLS" (my caps)

Any relevant software would suffice; anything but pen and paper.

Cheers
Mark

"software tool" had to be used to do the project management plan. Page
30 of the study design confirmed this. So would pen and paper
constitute this? I think they want us to use software such as Excel
rather than grids that are to be filled in manually.
