[Year 12 IT Apps] virutalising in MAC OS

Hi Andrew,

 

My understanding is you can't run windows in a virtual environment
without buying a licence (for XP or Vista or whatever). MS consider the
OS X as upgradeable to a current version of windows, but they can't be
run "together" (i.e. not within OSX).

 

Its easy enough to use Boot Camp to re-partition you hard drive, then
use your school's XP discs to install XP on the new partition. Then when
you boot, you can choose which OS to use. Much better and more stable
that Virtual Environments anyway.
