[Year 12 IT Apps] Answers...

Hi Diane,

 It seems the slide is continuing ..... we lost ITA ( IPM) about 3 years ago but it seems there may be worse to come:

   1. 2008  --    Yr 12 Software Dev - 12 students;  Yr 11 IT - 3 students; VET IT units 1 to 4 - 10 students ; Vet MM - 2 students;  Cisco CCNA - 3 students ( run as a cluster with 7 other schools so it will get up )
   2. 2009  --    There may be no Yr 12 IT and no VET IT at all.  We might rebuild Yr 11 IT .
   3. 2010  --     Who knows .... ????


  With 5 different senior IT and IT related subjects we can't even get 25 students from a school of 550. I shouldn't despair as I know of schools of 1200 plus who don't have a Yr 12 IT class.
   We may still be a cluster school to deliver Cisco CCNA 1 - 4 but not have any senior IT . Very strange and very sore as well. 
   I intend to keep marketing rather aggressively to keep things going for as long as possible.

ITA is not running here at Firbank next year, despite good results over the
years. Very sad (and a very sore point with me).

Here is my suggested answers for the Superior Auto SAC.

I have not completed the last few.

I have written my answers in teacher form not full students ans form.

Maybe it will help others.

Have a happy hols everyone.

We going through subject selection at the moment. I had 21 students
this year. Next year I think I will be teaching SOSE. Struggling to get
the kids for ITA 2008.
What are others finding?
