Author Colin Potts..Published by Thomson/Nelson. 
Their text is fine to use and the online supporting work is handy too!
 
I'm guessing the Jacaranda text is also up to par.
 
Both of these texts have current teacher input so you can be certain of the context of the contents.
 
Its up to you to decide. We use the Potts text.  Also consider purchase of Checkpoints-the current one, also by Potts.
 
As an immediate resource, visit Mark's website at www.McKinnonsc.vic.gov.au and go via 'learning areas' to then 'follow the chicken!'..to those who use his site, you'll know what this means.  Its great and current.

G'day Everyone,
I've just been landed with the IT Applications class with 8 weeks to go
so I'll be checking out the resources to help with the final SAC.  But
the reason I'm posting is that I've been left with the responsibility of
choosing the textbook for next year.  I'm wondering what people are
