We have a couple of laptop trolleys that look like the ones on that  
site (though I can't 100% sure).

It is problematic in several ways:

1: the power cables get in a huge tangled mess in short order

2: the power plugs are prone to getting caught on the trolley frame  
when the laptop is inserted, thereby risking damage to the socket.  
Failures are bound to start occurring soon, in my opinion.

A better solution would be to cut a hole in the side of each bay so  
that the plug can be inserted after the laptop is in the bay. That  
way the cables could also be tied down with a minimal of slack to fix  
problem 1

3: Ours hold 12 laptops each, through 2 powerboards connected by a  
double adapter to a single power outlet. This exceeds the current  
rating of the powerboards and also of the power point, and frequently  
trips out the circuit breaker.

4: There is no power indicator, so it is a common occurrence that the  
laptops are put away but powered up correctly (usually because the  
circuit breaker's out), and hence they don't get charged and run out  
of power in the middle of class the next day.
