This may be overkill and it is not a dynamic list, but AUSCERT publish a yearly report on Computer crime. I am sure there must be something around specific for Oz. The Internet Storm Center will generate a report for Oz for the "most scanned ports" and other niceties, but as to who is hacking who, AUSCERT is probably the best bet.

Here is a link to the 2006 report. Lots of juicy material and pretty graphs.

WOW! I wonder if such a list of breaches exists here in OZ!
Still in context, I am surprised to see the ignorance that many of my students have on viruses and their impact, given they (the students) have grown up with this computer stuff. It makes me wonder at times with their nonchalant attitudes if they really care about this type of computer abuse/misuse.
I guess thats where we as educators come in, inform them of the facts, educate them on the impact and persuade them not to further its cause. (hows that for combining topic and course content..I amaze myself sometimes!)
KB.

ps if anyone knows of an ozzie version of the list of breaches which is readily accessible, can you post its address here, I reckon others would be interested..I know I am.

Cheers..hIC!

Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but came across this huge list
of reported data security breaches in the USA.
I wonder if there's such a list for incidents that have happened here?

Lots of other interesting case studies, links, examples etc.
