Hi Sheryl,
I like your thinking. Very smart idea. PhotoStory is really for images
only. The way I do it is to create my presentation with text in
powerpoint. I save the ppt file as a jpg interchange format and import
the lot into PhotoStory. Works like a dream instead of creating
backgrounds etc.

I had the same problem and with little time to play have resorted to
creating a background image in Paint or other image manipulation
program, then inserting this image into the PhotoStory and adding text
to it. Anyone else find another solution?

I was tempted to do this, but it seems problematic to me.
For starters it's more than a bit naughty as far as the VCAA is
concerned and it's quite a stretch to report against the Yr 11
outcomes... for example, would you be counting spreadsheets as a
"programming or scripting language" and security analysis as
"representing a network"?? Secondly, it's going to be hard for the
weaker students and you need to take that into account for Yr 11s by
marking them more leniently ... but not too leniently! You might then
end up finding it hard in some cases to decide whether or not they've
met the outcomes. Thirdly, wouldn't it be dead boring next year for
the Year 12 kids who already did it this year as Year 11s? Fourth,
you'd miss out on the fun of the programming topic!
Just my opinion ;-)

Hi guys,
I have been given the task of making up the Photostory presentation for
speech night next week. The picture/sound part I can handle. But I was
wondering if any clever people out there know how to put in a blank
"slide" which I can add text to. It seems to want to only add text to
pictures and I can't locate anything about "just text" slides in the
help menu.
