You do not actually set a password, you can 'set permissions'. RMB
click on an already created html page, go to Properties, then Security
and choose level of access (read only, write permission etc).
Or when you are creating a page, when saving in Front Page, choose Save
As, then click Tools, Properties and set the permission there...
Hope this helps - I believe it is one way to achieve data protection...

Subject: Front page question
Hey listers,
Anyone know a simple way to put a password on a selected web page for a
'security access' ..
I was thinking its an 'add-in' tool but not sure.
Only asking because its not what I would usually do but IS needed for
our next outcome.
My software is FrontPage - 2002 and Dreamweaver MX so any help
appreciated..
AND
off topic..
Any Maths gurus out there got a good link to a site with complex numbers
and logic(2 topics) on it..I'm doing a part time online(feels like full
time!) course and thats the next topic for my assignments. Any help
accepted

Subject: Re: [Year 12 IT Apps] U302 IPO
Hi Carolyn,
I can't see any requirement in the study design for an IPO chart for
outcome 2 . The appropriate design tools for web site design include
storyboards, annotated diagrams/mockups, layout diagrams and site maps
and these are listed in the study design on p.28
It the textbook you are using requires an IPO chart, it should be
ignored unless as Mark said the application is to process some data. BTW
I have been most disappointed with the textbook I am using. It contains
annoying errors and omissions. Is anyone out there writing a book for
2008?
