Hi Everyone

I have been asked to spread the word regarding an IT vacancy that will occur=
 her for 6 terms beginning start of term 3.  I have gained a position overse=
as and am off on leave without pay until Dec 2008.

The school is tiny, the students fantastic and the area calming and serene.

I teach all IT from year 7 to year 12. We run a middle school elective progr=
am for years 8 to 10 with a variety of electives including VET Cert II and a=
 sose / business combination with IT.  e.g next semester we are running a co=
urse called Getaway which is a geography/IT combination.
All my courses have full course outlines completed with correlation to the r=
elevent VELS levels
Class sizes are phenomenal -

year 12 - 2 students in ITA
year 11 - 1 student
years 8 - 10 for next semester in two classes - no more than 15
year 7 is over for this year at the end of this semester

The most class discipline you usually need is - hey you stop that! or a load=
 cough to attract their attention or "the look"

I also teach French and Business Management but any applicant for the positi=
on would not be expected to take up this part of my load. They would give yo=
u a load depending on your own area of expertise.

There is ultra cheap school housing available - I pay $65 per week for a ver=
y nice 4 bedroom house and this will be available for the time. There are al=
so 2 smaller homes available for less than $50 a week. All of the homes are=
 newly painted and newly carpeted

The town is football and netball mad. It is however, tiny! We have one pub (=
best beer around), two shops, post office and bank and if you blink you will=
 miss it. Safeways is around 70km away.

If you want to retire to the quiet life come to Balmoral or

If you are young with lots of toddlers, looking for a really safe place to l=
ive, with a growing baby population who is struggling on one teacher's salar=
y then I would highly recommend it. There are excellent play school, infant=
 welfare and kinder facilities.
