[Year 12 IT Apps] Macros - Question arising from Friday's PD

Good question. I was hedging my bets when I planned for U3O1. The
introduction to Area of Study 1 in the study design says that students
"create macros to perform repetitive tasks" (p.25) but macros are not
explicitly mentioned in the U3O1 key knowledge or key skills, or in the
assessment guide.

I ended up allocating marks for indicating where macros/scripting could
be useful, and other marks for actually producing them (so the high
fliers could use this to set themselves above the herd).

The problem is that in Access, anything beyond recording keyboard/mouse
activity (e.g. VBA) is way beyond most kids' (and teachers') skill level.

Filemaker, however, is far easier to script :-)
