[Year 12 IT Apps] Access Question

Hi Sylvia
 
First create a query. in the query make sure that both fields are included.=
 In a blank field right click and select build. In the top pane click on + t=
hen the hourly rate and then the * (for multiple) followed by the hours fiel=
d (both field are in the lower pane. Finally click ok. It will name the fiel=
d Expr1 but you can change it to what you like.

I have a mental blank and was hoping someone can help. Can someone 
tell me how to make a field do a calculation of 2 other fields. I have 
gone blank So I have an hourly rate field and an hours field and I 
need an income field that calculates the 2 fields. Your help will be 
appreciated as i am stumped
